DEADLINES FOR FILING A BIENNIAL UPDATE
Filing schedule: Each motor carrier or intermodal equipment provider has to file the correct form in the following time frames and for the following reasons:
Before it begins operations
or
Whenever there is a change in day to day operation information (address, telephone number, email, # vehicles, etc.)
or
Every 24 months, according to the following schedule:
If your USDOT number ends in:

If the second-to-last digit of its USDOT # is odd, the motor carrier or intermodal equipment provider must submit the update in every odd-numbered calendar year.
If the second-to-last digit of the USDOT # is even, the motor carrier or intermodal equipment provider must file the update in every even-numbered calendar year.
